LLT1 - Digital Career Summit - PORTUGAL (07-11/OCT./2024)

Concrete objectives: Educational quality and Career preparation

The world was reshaped during and after the pandemic process. The pandemic has unleashed digital transformation. The

responsibility of supporting 21st-century skills with digital technologies is in schools' hands.To be creative in producing

knowledge and expert in solving problems, it is necessary to creates a potential workforce with the necessary digital skills.

The three VET high school partners of the project aim to improve the use of digital technologies in education by:

PROMOTING DIGITAL LITERACY & INCLUSION:

1. Enhancing Teaching Quality:

- Equip with modern tools and skills for more effective teaching.

- Enhance proficiency in using digital media for education.

2. Promoting Digital Citizenship:

- Foster awareness of responsible social media use, a crucial aspect of digital citizenship.

- Integrate privacy and security principles effectively into teaching, to gain trust in the digital environment .

3. Expanded access to technology:

- We will ensure access to technology for all students, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

ENHANCING CAREER GUIDANCE & ENTREPRENEURIAL MINDSET:

- Enhance career guidance by providing insights into workplace challenges.

- Guide students to make informed career choices.

- Emphasize the significance of a strong online presence through LinkedIn profiles for modern career success.

- Entrepreneurial mindset and foster digital literacy by learning from innovative companies.

- Infuse business education with ethical practices.

- Encourage collaboration and creativity through participation in an ethical entrepreneurial challenge.

- We aim to provide an inclusive educational experience that empowers every student, regardless of their background or

circumstances.

This dual focus ensures that students not only acquire essential academic knowledge but also develop the practical skills

and ethical principles necessary for success in the modern workforce.

3. LESSON PLANS - that incorporate privacy and security topics.
